Why we wrote “Not in Our America”
We were deeply concerned by the lack of due process, violence, and lack of empathy affecting people impacted by ICE enforcement. Rather than stand by, we wanted to use art—and the power of music—to inspire positive change. Simply releasing a protest song wasn't enough. We wanted the music to produce tangible help. That's why we created Music for Dignity: to raise awareness and provide meaningful support to people and communities affected by immigration enforcement.
